IT’S ALL ABOUT THE ART!!!
We are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Art Grants from Esthetic Evolution. These projects are just now getting underway so all we can provide at this time is a synopsis of what to expect at the Event:
Noxious Weed (a night blooming flower)
Presented by Patrick Ames…A 14′ tall flower that will bloom during the night! As the day grows old & darkness unfolds more and more…its lights turn and the flower opens up! Once full bloom is reached, music starts and party lights turn on. This flower will bloom intermittently throughout the night…we can only guess when it will!
Return to Use
A project by Thomas Cox…This metal sculpture tree is designed more of fantasy than reality! Featuring ONLY recycled metal from local scrap yards in a free flowing art construction! Excellent re-use of material for sure!
Broken
Dedicated to her brother Bud who passed away last year while she was attending last years EE, Erynn Graf presents Broken! A light box display of human x-rays. This piece with images of multiple body parts will be on display arranged in a bone pile! Namaste Bud!
Congratulations to all of our 2010 Art Grant recipients!
INDEPENDENT ART CONTRIBUTION
In addition, Esthetic Evolution is very excited to reveal that independent efforts are currently underway to ensure attendance of a very special art installation; Ganesh. This is an “Art Car” originally designed for use at the Burning Man Project in Black Rock City, NV. Ganesh currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT but attends numerous events in the western united states throughout the year. Ganesh will be a stationary installment at Esthetic Evolution providing a venue for one of the approved Sound Camps.

Complete details about SoundCamps are provided below.
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN
As usual, we encourage ALL attendees to create art and theme camps either representing the Event Theme or celebrating their own artistic vision. The only limitation is that we ask you keep your projects courteous and safe. Although this year’s Art Grant funds have been allocated, we encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or special needs to bring your idea to fruition. We are always willing to help. A SPECIAL REQUEST
Our friend Kirtane Chiron would like to create a 3D model of a Shri Yantra, which the yogics of India believe to be a physical representation & gateway to the harmony of male & female, form & emptiness, all duality, and the bringer of prosperity…but he would like your help!
First, he would like to construct a Shri Yantra, then create it with prayer, and make a mandala shrine of bliss & happiness surrounding it! This would include many sacred things including personal items that anyone else wishes to contribute. Kirtane would encourage that attendees come to sit, chill out, and focus within themselves and their Luv! Paper & pens would be available nearby for people to write their aspirations and prayers! These could then be put into a sealed box or left out to be shared with others. Saturday night the Shri Yantra and/or the papers would be burned, weaving them into harmony for the greater good of All Beings! Creating a touch of sacred space at Esthetic.
If you are interested to donate to Kirtane’s project, either monetarily, with supplies, or anything else, please email him at kirtane@live.com & give him whatever support you can!
THEME CAMPS
Art Installations and Theme Camps represent the core basis of self-expression at Esthetic Evolution and we encourage every attendee to immerse themselves in some form of project which will represent their individuality to its fullest. If you have a specific Theme Camp in mind, we really want to make sure you keep us in the loop to assure that you are provided with a location and the resources to bring your project to fruition. For questions about Theme Camps, please contact the following E-Mail address:
