			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a name="general"></a><strong>GENERAL TERMS &amp; CONDITIONS:</strong></p>
<p>Admission will be available to all patrons 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  You must have a valid form of ID as proof of age to meet this criteria.  We reserve the right to deny admission to anyone regardless of whether or not you possess a ticket to the Event.</p>
<p>Children 12 and under accompanied by a parent will be admitted for free. Children between 13-18 require full-price tickets. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21 years of age.</p>
<p>With the purchase of your ticket, you voluntarily assume the risk of serious injury and/or death by attending this Event and release the Esthetic Evolution Festival and it&#8217;s affiliates from any claim arising from any such occurrence.</p>
<p>You must bring enough food, water, shelter and first aid to survive in the environment at Esthetic Evolution for the duration of your attendance. [see the <a href="http://estheticevolution.com/location-camping/#campsupplies">CAMPING</a> page for details] Commercial vending is prohibited [see <a href="http://estheticevolution.com/#vending">INFORMATION</a> page for details].  Also prohibited are all firearms, fireworks, rockets and other explosives.</p>
<p>You agree to read and abide by any rules put forth by the organizers of Esthetic Evolution and follow all federal, state and local laws. This is a Leave No Trace, Pack It In &#8211; Pack It Out Event [see <a href="http://estheticevolution.com/location-camping/#leavenotrace">CAMPING</a> page for details]; please abide by these principles! You are asked to contribute as much time as necessary to keeping the space you occupy at the Event as close as possible to its natural state before your arrival and show no sign of your presence once you leave.</p>
<p>Tickets are non-refundable even if the Event is terminated early or cancelled due to harsh weather, acts of nature, governmental regulation, or other conditions beyond Esthetic Evolution&#8217;s control. The Ticket is a revocable license that may be refused by Esthetic Evolution for any reason.</p>
<p>We reserve the right to deny admittance or purchase of Tickets to anyone at our discretion. The purchase and use of a Ticket for your admittance to the Event confirms your agreement to the terms reflected here.</p>
<p><a name="mailing"></a><strong>MAILING:</strong></p>
<p>Tickets will be mailed using standard First Class US Postal Service. Please allow 4-5 Business days from the date of shipment for your tickets to arrive. You will be sent an e-mail (Notification of Shipment) from Esthetic Evolution when your Tickets have been sent for delivery. Esthetic Evolution and it&#8217;s affiliates cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Upon transmission of your Notification of Shipment you assume full responsibility for the Tickets.</p>
<p>Tickets will be sent to the recipient listed in the Shipping Information Page during your PayPal transaction. Your transaction with PayPal is liable to the terms and conditions of their service.</p>
<p>NOTE: If you do not specify any Shipping Information, the address listed for your Billing Information will be used. <p>To specify that you would like your tickets kept at the Gate for Will-Call, select &#8220;Will-Call&#8221; from the Shipping Type Pull-Down Menu before Adding the item to your Cart.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Esthetic Evolution, this year, will begin awarding Art Grants for certain individuals to create art projects which can be set up and displayed at the Event.  The budget for Art Grants is limited, but it is a start nevertheless.  Of course we encourage everyone to express themselves in whatever artistic medium they can, regardless of being allotted any money to fund their project.  We do, however, hope that those who may be less fortunate financially but have big ideas can benefit from this new endeavour we are taking on.</p>
<p>Please keep in mind that we may not be able to provide complete funds for any individual project.  In order to help as many artists as possible and increase the presence of art at the Festival, it is our intention to assist with a portion of many projects and will do our best to work with you to make your project happen.  Keep in mind also that these funds are NOT for labor or other extraneous costs associated with creating a project.  They are intended mainly for purchase of supplies ONLY.  In the spirit of gifting and community, we would hope that you would be willing to put some sort of personal effort and sacrifice into your project.</p>
<p>Process For Submitting An Application / Proposal:</p>
<p>The process for completing the application for an Art Grant should go about like this.   Fill out the online Application to show us your intention.  We may contact you for additional details about your project.  Be prepared with the following information: Philosophy, Sketches / Designs, Itemized Budget, Project Help or Crew, Safety Precautions Taken, Setup / Cleanup Needs.</p>
<p><strong>Deadline:</strong></p>
<p>The deadline for getting us your 2010 grant proposal is March 31st 2010.  No exceptions.<br />
<strong><br />
Date For Grant Approval:</strong></p>
<p>Most decisions will be made no later than April 20th &amp; you will be notified at that time.</p>
<p><strong>How Much Should I Ask For? / How Much Will I Get?</strong></p>
<p>Depending on the project, this can vary.  We are definitely willing to work with you if your idea is feasible.  We will do what we can to get you the money you need or help in any other way we can.  Artists should be prepared to find other sources of funds as well.  There are many free resources out there; consider ways of using materials that can be acquired cheap and easy.</p>
<p>We have a very limited amount of funds available and will try to do what we can.  We may not be able to fund your entire project but you should ask for what you feel is reasonable and we will work with you from there.  Be creative, ask for help (even from us; we may have contacts or resources you do not), hold a fundraiser, make it happen.</p>
<p>We have always offered the option for community members to make donations.  Encourage your friends, family or co-workers to donate to your project directly or to the Esthetic Evolution Art Fund by donating on our website thru PayPal [LINK: PayPal Donate Button (Code TBD)].</p>
<p><strong>When / How Will I Receive Funding?</strong></p>
<p>This will vary depending on the project &amp; the cost. A separate schedule of payment will be developed for each artist or group of artists working on a particular project individually.  Funding may come in different payment methods from different sources &amp; possibly not all at once, so we will work it out with you directly.  It may be necessary for us to sign a contract together to ensure a mutual agreement and understanding.<br />
<strong><br />
Criteria That Will Shape Our Decision To Award Grants:</strong></p>
<p>Creativity &#8211; Have you put much thought in to it?  Do we like it?<br />
Professionalism &#8211; Are you prepared and were your Application / Proposal done well?<br />
Synchronicity &#8211; Does your project fit in to the Festival?  We love fire (done safely)!<br />
Interactivity &#8211; Is your project engaging?  Does it have any interactive elements?</p>
<p>Things To Keep In Mind When Designing Your Art:</p>
<p><strong>FIRE</strong></p>
<p>For ANY Art project (whether applying for a Grant or not) that include any sort of Fire effects of ANY kind, please E-Mail us at <a href="mailto:Art@EstheticEvolution.com">Art@EstheticEvolution.com</a> and describe in detail what you plan to do.  Esthetic Evolution Festival is near National Forest Service land and must adhere to fire safety practices.  We must be very careful with fire at Esthetic and in some cases fire will NOT be allowed at all depending on your idea.  So let&#8217;s talk about it and try to work it out.  IF you do not contact us before the event, your project&#8217;s fire effects will be shut down &amp; you may be asked to leave the event.  We are very serious here.  This does NOT include fire spinning by living persons.  This only applies to installations on Art projects that burn, shoot, or otherwise create flame.</p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITY</strong></p>
<p>You must take responsibility for ALL aspects of your art project, installation, performance, etc!  From setup to teardown we expect you to keep that responsibility.  Leave no trace applies to you, the artist, as well as ALL other attendees, participants &amp; performers at Esthetic.  If you assemble an art project on the meadow at Esthetic, then you must disassemble and/or otherwise remove and haul away your project without leaving a trace as well. If you desire to burn a project, and this ONLY applies if it will fit into a fire pit, then please contact us to work out the details.  Nothing, absolutely nothing, should be left at your art site or camp when you leave.  Remember that every aspect of creating art must be taken seriously.  E-Mail <a href="mailto:Art@EstheticEvolution.com">Art@EstheticEvolution.com</a> with any questions or inquiries.</p>
<p><strong>SAFETY</strong></p>
<p>Another thing to consider when setting up or building your artwork is that it must be sufficiently secured against wind and weather conditions that may arise. If there are securing wires, rebar or any other piece of your artwork that may not be clearly visible, then it is necessary that they be flagged or otherwise marked for daytime AND especially nighttime visibility.  Suggested lighting solutions include reflective tape, LEDs, blinky lights, glow sticks &amp; such.  You should be prepared to replenish, recharge, replace batteries or other aspects that keep your project illuminated as necessary.  It is a good idea to use something that cannot be stolen or removed.   If you need help securing your structure, please contact the EE Art folks (again, <a href="mailto:Art@EstheticEvolution.com">Art@EstheticEvolution.com</a>) and we will do our best to help you with ideas or on site assistance.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Before submitting an application to run a sound camp, please read the following information carefully. You will be expected to follow all guidelines as stated herein. To apply for a sound camp, fill out the online <a href="http://estheticevolution.com/wordpress/uncategorized/sound-camp-application/">application</a>. <p>All sound camps must be pre-approved by May 15, 2010. No sound camp will be permitted to operate without submitting an application and being approved. This year we will be increasing the number of allowed camps to five (5), making it imperative that the below guidelines be followed.</p>
<p>Set-up for your sound camp must begin on Thursday, June 17 at 1pm and be completed by the end of the day. Esthetic Evolution reserves the right to place you where we feel your camp will best fit within the meadow&#8217;s overall plan. We will do our best to keep your preferences in mind while making these decisions and will let you know when you arrive for setup where you will be placed.</p>
<p>You may run the sound at your camp anytime between the hours of noon and 7:00 p.m. during Friday and Saturday. However, at 7:00 p.m. all sound must be turned off. There are no exceptions to this rule! You will not be able to run any sound before noon, as we would like to be considerate of those around you who may be still sleeping.</p>
<p>Since the meadow is relatively small and music can bleed from one sound camp to another, we ask that you keep your volume at a considerate level. This will guarantee that others at surrounding sound camps cannot hear your music. Please also only bring a small amount of sound (i.e. two DJ monitors and a sub) as this should be more than enough for your camp. Esthetic Evolution staff reserves the right to ask that you turn down your sound if we deem it necessary.</p>
<p>Sound camps are meant to be for everyone and therefore cannot be exclusionary. This means that you cannot close your camp or only make it available to a specific group of people. If you would like to operate a camp that will have a &#8216;no stranger&#8217; policy (although we do not encourage you to do this) we suggest you leave your sound at home and setup a theme camp.</p>
<p>Sound camps should be fun, so the more attractions you have at your camp, the more likely it is that we will pick your camp to participate.  Be creative in the attractions that you&#8217;ll have available at your camp, and be sure to be specific when filling out your application.</p>
<p>Your sound camp is fully YOUR responsibility. All sound, generators, DJ equipment, decorations and anything else featured there must be provided and maintained solely by you and your crew. The generators you bring must be clean burning, efficient and we&#8217;d prefer if they were silent as well. Placement of your generator needs to be thoughtful of the people camped around you. If you choose to share your generator with other art installations, Meadow Management can assist in placing your generator in the most desirable area. Esthetic Evolution and its partners are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.</p>
<p>Failure to follow these guidelines may result in your camp being shut down immediately, and any future considerations for your sound camps terminated.</p>
