Monster Planet is an ever-expanding collective of producers, musicians, sound designers, visual artists, and B-movie enthusiasts based in Seattle, Washington. Every month different members come together at the Can Can Cabaret in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market, to improvise a soundtrack to some of the most bizarre and cheesy B-movies they can find, creating a surreal mix of cutting edge ambient/experimental/drone music and obscure, low budget cinema. The organization and logistics of Monster Planet expeditions are overseen by SYNPROV CORP, consisting of Gel-Sol, William Mempa, Leave Trace, Numeric Response, Brian Oblivion, and resident video wrangler Killing Frenzy.
